Gitte Engel has played games since she was a little girl with her friends and family - and she still does. All her friends know, that a dinner party with nice food and some good wine, will be round up perfectly with a good game, fun and ambience.

So there isn't a single game, that hasn't been played. Together with friends the focus has been on the most well known adult board games. Dices have been thrown, many questions have been answered, funny drawings have been drawn, funny characters have been mimed through-out the years.

Everybody must have a chance
After countless rounds of trivia-
games with the friends, Gitte realized, that not everbody likes to play these kind of games, because the questions are just too difficult! That is how the ideas for creating a new game started. It had to be different in every way.
She quit her job. It was time to work full time on the idea, the development and context of a

brand new board game. The development is driven by the passion of playing games, and the dream to develop something new and different. The game should be different in more than one dimension. It should be challenging, fair and entertaining for all players, and everybody should have a chance to win, even though they are not wandering libraries.

The game had to be fair
The question is, is it great to know the name of a Nobel price winner of litterature? In any case it's knowledge for nerds, and maybe not the type of questions that will bring entertainment into a game night.
As a woman, it is typical to think about how everybody can enjoy the evening.

Most trivia games are delevoped by men, so that is also something new, that Bet Your Brain® is developed by a woman. The main idea is, that it has to be fun to win, but also funny on the way to the victory - for all. So in this game, there is room for all kinds of brains and different intellects.
